The Hearing Rehabilitation Foundation (HRF) is very happy to announce that we will be hosting the twelfth meeting in this series in Woburn, Massachusetts. The conference is May 4 – 6, 2025 at the Woburn Elks Lodge.

Schedule of Events

Sunday May 4th – 5pm-7pm – Welcome reception at HRF: 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 5700 Woburn, MA
Monday May 5th – 9am-5pm – Conference Day 1
Tuesday May 6th – 9am-4pm – Conference Day 2

Learning Outcomes

As a result of this conference, the participants will be able to:
1. Identify new technology to assist people with severe hearing loss
2. Describe programs developed to improve communication skills of people who are hard of hearing
3. Integrate activities to enhance musical appreciation into their work with people who are hard of hearing

Completion Requirements

To successfully complete this course, attendees must attend the conference as well as complete a self-assessment/reflection at the end of each day.

Registration Information

Registration is $350 until March 28th. The registration fee after March 28 is $400.

This fee provides one conference registration, which includes light breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon coffee breaks on the two days of the conference, the Welcome Reception on May 4, 2025, and a copy of the Conference Handbook. A Conference Dinner is planned for the evening of May 5, but will not be covered by the registration fee. A special registration rate for students is available upon request.

Lodging

We are encouraging all participants to stay near the Conference Center. We will be contacting local hotels to obtain a special conference rate for registrants. A list of hotels and details of how to obtain these special rates will be sent once you have registered for the conference. Woburn is within easy reach of Boston Logan Airport, and is conveniently located near the intersection of Routes 95 and 93 for those driving to the venue.
